In the Jab hangar. A team of highly skilled pilots are building a Australian made Jabiru kit aircraft. Soon to be seen on radar screens around East Anglia. The Team have made a decision that the Aircraft will carry the 448th tail logo over Seething again.



Skilled engineers fit the Jabiru 6-cylinder 4-stroke horizontally opposed air cooled engine. Others work on producing a perfect airframe.

Oct 10th 07. Doors have been fitted, Engine components have been fitted, and the instrument rack and panel are taking shape.
Oct 24th Engine now complete. Control mountings interior base paint Rods, hose, and cables for carburettor heating all fitted.
NOV 7th. Engine Cowls are now a perfect fit. Rudder controls and adjustment skilfully completed. Brian Greathead's instrument panel is looking good
Nov 14th More progress. Fuel pipes and Wiring. More wiring, and Brian's Instrument Panel is now at the Bench test stage.
Nov 21st Now the windows have been fitted and more work has been done on the engine and wiring . 28th Nov Wings are now ready.
Jabiru is now producing airframes at the rate of 20 per month and engines at the rate of 90 per month. Aircraft and Kits have been sold to 16 countries and engines to 31 countries.
